The works consisted of addition and renovation of commercial kitchen in the oldest retirement facility in the state of New Jersey, built around the turn of the century. Since the building is classified as historic, Collette Contracting Inc. had to work very carefully around the existing structure during excavation and construction to protect the existing building and ornamentation. Collette Contracting Inc. also requested to match the existing fa�ade almost 100 years old, and accomplished this difficult task to the satisfaction of the owner and architect. Also, the work was performed within occupied spaces without interrupting existing building function and resident activities.

Collette Contracting Inc. completed the project ahead of schedule, and was given an early completion bonus by the client.
