Scale and Remove all loose rocks on 100� of rock slope failure near the bottom of Williams Road, some approximately 4 tons of weight, along the edge of the route. These large and small blocks occupied a relatively narrow strip of moderately sloping ground that separates the paved swale adjacent to the road and the base of the exposed rock cut. Collette Contracting scaled all loose rock by professional certified & trained rock scalers, removed all remaining loose rock blocks, built a barrier with large blocks along the road shoulder, and remaining rock was hauled away. Extreme caution was taken to protect the public, workers, road surface and road drainage. Certified Arborists and Pesticide Applicators were employed to remove trees and for root herbicide treatment. Collette Contracting has prepared and enforced special Traffic Control Plan, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan and Environmental Protection Plans during the performance of the contract. Project was completed on time, with zero incident or lost time.
