Remove existing telecommunications infrastructure and furnish and install updated telecommunications system to support voice, video and data network to each room in Building 745C Eisenhower Barracks at the US Military Academy, West Point. The current telecommunications structure needed replacement to support the current needs of the cadets to gain reliable access to the internet, as well as and required voice and video applications, including cross connection of the telephone cables CAT-6 UTP cabling, fiber optic cabling raceways, information technology outlets, patch panels, racks with electronics and other associated equipment were installed in accordance with current Department of the Army and industry EIA/TIA standards. In addition, electric panels were installed in each of the telecom closets to support the installation of new equipment as per NEC and NFPA standards.

All work has been performed in occupied spaces (Cadet Barracks) and office areas while cadets and the academy personnel were facilitating the building. Work was phased on floors and sections of the building to allow continuous use of the area by the occupants. Work also required strict noise and dust control, especially during mid-terms and finals. The project was completed on time and without accident or lost time and has surpassed all contract requirements and exceeded many to the government�s benefit.
