Road Rehabilitation project at the main entrance to Great Swamp Wildlife Refuge Center includes environmental protection, removing & replacing existing drainage pipes, excavation and removing existing pavement, asbestos abatement of soil and paving, construction of new asphalt paving and transitions to required elevations, and complete site restoration. All works are being accomplished within active entrance road, and coordinated works in accordance with active US Fish and Wildlife Refuge operation and schedule, without interrupting daily Great Swamp employee, visitor and office operations.

Collette Contracting Incorporated also Value Engineered the project and provided approx. $60,000 savings to the government while delivering a superior job on schedule, without any accident and loss time. Performance surpassed all contract requirements and exceeded many to the government�s benefit.
